I went on a 'traditional media' binge a few months back and these were the better ones I apparently saved. These were taken with a digi cam as I don't have a scanner.
Lower left was done with graphite, others are charcoal+dry brush.
On another note, I am reminded of an amusing conversation I had with my mom not too long ago (few months):
Now my mom I think gets a kick out of me being something of a *cough* artist and all, and she has seen some of my work (specifically stuff that has appeared in the Exotique books I've been in). So I talk to her from time to time about this and that.
And so, I was talking to her about my desire to learn how to paint with traditional media and how I wasn't sure if I should do acrylics or oils. I thought I'd probably prefer oils because I'm a blending freak but was concerned about the toxicity/fumes, etc. So she was giving me her thoughts on the subject (materials, costs, technique, etc), and we were going back and forth for about 10 minutes. Then suddenly she pauses, you know looking for the words for a question, and then she asks me plainly, seriously, and innocently, "So, you can draw, right?"
Oh boy! that talking with you mom was just a funny and cute anecdote! She didn't know you can draw because she haven't seen your digital art?
Oh and how wondorous traditional art mate! Your always make such majestic and splendorous art of female anatomy!!! Seriously, such as superb work as always! I've been being a huge fan of your work since a pretty good time :3 but I don't know why the tell I haven't talked to you until now Maybe because I was so shy and nervous to talk with such a great artist! Heheh well, now you know I admire you a lot! Keep going with this awesome word!!
wow, beautiful work on human anatomy! all three works are very detailed and anatomically perfect! most of all I like the one in the lower right corner because of her pose. but maybe you can take a look at the ...uh...edges of her body again. they seem to harsh to me. Sorry for my English, I hope you know what I mean.
